Evian Masters this year - as is the case with previous years for this event - will mark yet another tournament where more than 30 countries will be represented in the participant. The LPGA has grown rapidly to a level of global participation that is unmatched by other women's sports around the world. Countries with the largest contingents of this week in Korea, Japan and the United States.

Included in the number of participants at the Evian Masters this year are a total of 10 players who received sponsor invitation.There are four LPGA Tour (Mariajo Uribe, Cindy LaCrosse, Grace Park and Julieta Granada), five members of LET (Verchenova Maria, Caroline Rominger, Anne Lise Caudal, Sophie Giquel and Caroline Alfonso) and a member of the WGAI India (Sharmila Nicollet), as the official site of the LPGA.

Last year, Shin birdied the par-5 18th hole at the Evian Masters Golf Club to capture a one-stroke victory over Lexi Thompson, Morgan Pressel and Na Yeon Choi and secure her eighth career victory on the LPGA Tour.
