"We can tell our children how we were, but they'll just roll their eyes and say, 'Oh, yeah. Of course you were. They know nothing of their parents or grandparents when they were in high school or college, "said OJ Cunningham, in his 17th season as a Hall of Fame president.
"But what you are valid. This is your brand recognition. And I saw children and grandchildren come to the banquet hall of fame and just say 'Wow! " And, "It's kind of neat.

Cleveland Golf Gloves
Yesterday we promised to us are very happy with that summer day and Scotland on Wednesday reminded us that sometimes the stations here have no date on the calendar. Dog day . . wet. Early in the morning it started to rain, to become a real gale throughout the day. Heavy rain, strong winds and low temperatures have made the practice day at St Andrews today in a challenge of survival. The brave few who dared to defy the storm shelter had to turn to after a few holes. Horizontal falling rain, cold hands and bleak forecasts made after 4 or 5 holes of intent, the players have folded sails. Quirós was the case and Sergio (share split), Lara . . Despite the adversity, all the Spanish have completed a greater or lesser extent, a day of practice. Gonzalo has hit a good ball sitting in the rain and strong wind trying to regain the good feelings. He has been good because the sacrifice has achieved the goal of keeping good feeling of swing to tackle this Open. After a bit of short game and putting, along with Vijay Singh, both under the watchful eye of Greg Hopkins, chief executive of Cleveland Golf / Srixon. Miguel Angel has been less and has stuck a spanking work underwater. Many mid-swing ball to control the ball trajectory in the wind and a few full swings to finish and not get arrugao. When passed near us was dripping, red-faced from the cold and the wind . . and Montecristo in the mouth. He says that there is no rain off. Miguel Bravo. In the 3 hours we've been in practice we have seen a few players. Apart from Vijay, a staunch, Sandy Lyle, who seemed that the rain was not with him and gave ball like that, Tongchai Jaidee and Spanish above, others have made brief appearances. The day was not enough for most. There have been a nice moment you have gathered several illustrious former winners of the tournament, as if he had agreed to go at the same time, Sir Nick Faldo, who gave advice to Ian Baker Finch swing, Tom Lehman, who did the same with Mark OMeara and Padraig Harrington who worked the movement with the help of strange contraptions with his coach Bob Torrance (father of Sam), and under the eye of a counselor, the renowned Dr. Bob Rotella. I used to get close to greet the Doc, which to my surprise still remember the day he went to pick up the Greensboro airport, back in 1998. Had only published a book back then, but it was well known in the professional sports environment. Today I guess you all know the interesting literature on sports psychology. I got the camera, with great success and many efforts to balance the umbrella, wind and water . . to Padraig has devoted a few words, with rain and all included. Vijay has also been friendly and we have answered a few questions. They are not as fierce lions . . The highlight in the field of practice, despite all told, was another: in the midst of one of the worst moments of horizontal rain, we see an umbrella that is approaching us. Below, we can only see jeans and bare feet with beach sandals . . ! As about the mysterious umbrella, we guess a figure, which is found to pass our side to say hello. . Phil Mickelson! Came without clubs, without a caddy . . and flip flops! Gonzalo and I have not been able to resist and we broke out laughing, to which Phil, at the absurdity of the situation, has responded with a friendly greeting and other laugh and it makes nice time here, seems to San Diego . A crack. You're in the Callaway truck and has not left up to an hour and a half later, armed with balls, hats and cleveland golf gloves for the week. The downside of the day was the suspension of Champions Tournament. We were many who hoped to win the power to see Palmer, Player, Thompson, Trevino, Watson, etc to play the 4-hole exhibition. Perhaps the Gods Own Scottish and Saint Andrews wanted to see the great Seve and announced to his enforced absence and decided, via weather, stopping everything. A pity. Or play all . . . Tomorrow begins the good gentlemen. The weather forecasts are not too hopeful, better in the morning to afternoon. At 7. 00 am I will be in the field. We will continue to count. Greetings from St Andrews friends . . . .
