Even with an alter ego named Mr. Knickers and a plastic bag full of golf clubs and tennis balls, golf instructor Brian Gallant London has no problem gaining the respect of his students and peers . In fact, the Golf Club Firerock based on the teacher was recently recognized throughout the province for coaching excellence.
Based on his involvement with the Golf Association of Ontario golf in schools program, Gallant was recently named winner of a Prize Ontario Coaching Excellence. With competition now open to teachers of golf, Gallant became the first in his field at home the hardware.

The Ontario Association of the Deaf is hosting its annual charity “Knickers” Golf Tournament at the Royal Ontario Golf Club on August 4. It is a day where members of the Deaf community and representatives from different businesses come out to play golf and enjoy a relaxing dinner.
It is a unique blend of Deaf and non-Deaf players found nowhere else in Canada. The purpose of which is to raise awareness about the Deaf community and communication barriers that they face. By participating in this tournament, you will not only be able to interact with the Deaf community of Toronto, you will also benefit thousands of Deaf Ontarians.
