    35 airport jobs to go at BAS

    Thirty-five people will be made redundant at Aircraft Services Bermuda Ltd (ASB) following the closure of certain parts of the company's airport operations, parent company Bermuda Aviation Services (BAS) announced yesterday.

    35 airport jobs to go at BAS

    Thirty-five people will be laid to Aircraft Services Bermuda Ltd. (ASB) after the closure of parts of the Companys operation of the airport, the parent company of Bermuda Aviation Services (BAS) announced yesterday.

    All positions are filled by Bermudians.

    ASB business operations ramp aircraft, passengers and check-in and technical services of the aircraft will all be closed and the company is negotiating the sale of related equipment, the BAS said in a statement.
