Through the first 51 holes of golf last week's Pride Junior Classic, sanctioned by the American Junior Golf Association and held at Pinehurst Forest Creek Golf Club, recent graduate Allison Emrey Ardrey Kell liked his chances of claiming his first title AJGA tournament. Emrey Carolina Weekly Newspaper Group 2010's Girls Golfer of the Year and Wake Forest University signer, held a two-shot lead in North Augusta, South Carolina Jessica Hoang enter the last three holes of the three-day event, held July 5-7.

PINEHURST, N.C. - Playing in her final junior golf event, Wake Forest incoming freshman Allison Emrey fired a 3-under 213 and won the American Junior Golf Association's Golf Pride Junior Classic. The 54-hole event was played at the Forest Creek Golf Club in Pinehurst, N.C.
